Rocío Gómez (Buenos Aires, ARG, 1994) is a Barcelona based artist, creative director and researcher behind rosarosarosa and Horrenda. She is also active as a producer in the arts and cultural field. Her work explores cyclicity, spectrality and erosion and draws from the intersections of ecofeminist research, etimological ancestries, sculpture, writing, graphic design and installations. Her practice aims to reconfigure dominant narratives and invite alternative forms of world-building: ancestral, liminal, and more-than-human. Through the objects and sculptures created in Horrenda, she also investigates the crucial nature of ugliness, uselessness, and decay.
